We are seeking a motivated/experienced Veterinarian to replace our only Doctor (our daughter) who has left the profession. We are a family owned and operated small animal practice specializing in cats and dogs located on the West side of Springfield, Mo. Salary is commensurate with experience. Our clinic temporarily closed effective December 1, 2023, due to a lack of a Veterinarian. We were open Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 6pm and Friday from 8:00am to 1pm, but we are amenable to changing the days/hours of operation to accommodate the new Veterinarian. We close on weekends and no evening hours are required.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat various illnesses and injuries in cats and dogs
- Perform surgical procedures as needed. We do spays, neuters, mass removals, soft tissue injuries and dentals
- Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and wellness exams
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with veterinary assistants and other staff members to provide comprehensive care

Experience:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- State licensure in Missouri to practice veterinary medicine
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and diseases
- Experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions in cats and dogs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and staff

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
