We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant for Companion Veterinary Hospital of Wayne and Animal Care Center of North Jersey. We pride ourselves in our practice of low stress handling. Must be willing and able to be trained in fast paced environment. PTO, Continuing education, health, and retirement benefits available. This is an opportunity for learning and career advancement.

Requirements

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Handling animals / restraining for exams
• Assisting doctors and technicians
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of the hospital: sidewalk, reception area, treatment area, exam rooms, etc.
• Janitorial duties, including vacuuming and mopping
• Laundry
• Unpacking deliveries and stocking items
