Vice President (Financial Institutions Coverage) for BNP Paribas in New York, NY, to Will work with Financial Institutions Coverage (FIC) and financial sponsors to manage client relationships from the origination of business and ideas across a broad product range, including fund financing, private credit, strategic equity, leveraged finance, infrastructure, and hedging products. Will leverage industry, market, and product knowledge to drive revenue production and business growth. Participate in and contribute to strategic management initiatives and projects within the business and across the institution. Will drive global coverage strategy at a client level, with the aim of defending and growing BNPP’s share of wallet across products and geographies, identifying synergies and cross-selling opportunities. Will manage resource allocation and prioritize scarce resources, including research and strategy, major corporate events, access to balance sheets, lines of credit, capital, and risk limits. Will direct contributions to the operational permanent control framework, work with operational support teams to fine-tune operational processes, client on-boarding, International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), Credit Support Annex (CSA), and Global Master Repurchase Agreement (GMRA) signing, and Credit limit applications. Will act as the Senior Business Officer (SBO) for all clients under coverage and ensure all compliance, regulatory, and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements are fully addressed. Will ensure client re-certifications are completed on time across the different risk categories. Will support regulator-led initiatives and act as a point of escalation for the due diligence teams, compliance department, and client on-boarding teams to resolve issues. Will assess whether starting a new relationship or maintaining an existing relationship with a customer is appropriate based on reputation, potential for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions, and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) risks. Will assess the relevance and appropriateness of offering and/or maintaining certain products and services of BNPP in view of the risk profile of the customer. Will contribute to the detection of any unusual and/or suspicious transactions by the customer with due reporting to a Compliance Office. Will ensure the KYC is up-to-date in accordance with the BNPP’s standards. Will trigger an ad hoc review when made aware of any material or adverse information in connection with any customers in the field of Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML-CTF), in accordance with the relevant KYC policies and procedures.

Requires: Master's degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus four (4) years of experience as a Vice President (Financial Institutions Coverage) or related occupation working with fund financing, private credit, leveraged finance, infrastructure, and hedging products within an international bank or international financial services organization or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years of experience as a Vice President (Financial Institutions Coverage) or related occupation working with fund financing, private credit, leveraged finance, infrastructure, and hedging products within an international bank or international financial services organization, including at least . Specific skills/other requirements - Demonstrated Expertise (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise (DE) leveraging principles of economics and market dynamics to present market conditions and trends; (DE) originating transactions by identifying client needs and assessing the appropriate products, including fund financing, private credit, leveraged finance, infrastructure, and hedging; (DE) assessing the market, credit, operational, compliance, legal, regulatory, and reputational risks of transactions; (DE) developing and managing client C-suite relationships within an international bank or financial services organization; and (DE) adhering to Compliance, Regulatory, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering, and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML-CTF) requirements and guidelines.
