About the role:

The Norstella VP of New Product Development is responsible for driving new product development across the Norstellas family of businesses and brands. Working closely with business unit leadership, technology teams, commercial leadership and clients, this person will successfully identify, rapidly incubate and validate new product development opportunities above and beyond business-unit-specific roadmaps. Working closely with business units, this person manages a roadmap of cross-BU product opportunities and work to commercialize those that demonstrate product-market fit. Successful candidates will have successfully brought to market analytics and workflow products supporting the drug lifecycle, pipeline to patient. This includes demonstrable success in real world data, clinical trials, competitive intelligence, market access, and/or drug commercialization.

Responsibilities:

  • Curates a strong understanding of both customer voice and new product capabilities emerging across Norstella products and business units.
  • Working cross-functionally and cross-business, owns a market-informed point of view across key market segments relevant to Norstella buyer personas.
  • Owns and prioritizes a robust roadmap of now / next / later New Product Development initiatives across these key market segments
  • Working cross-functionally and cross-business, rapidly develops early product prototypes, fosters early adoption and product learnings, then commercializes new products that have proven impact and demonstrated product-market fit.
  • Serve as key subject matter expert in domain(s) such as real world data, clinical trials, competitive intelligence, marketing access and/or drug commercialization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in multi-product line product management / product ops / product marketing roles
  • 5+ years in a senior product management role at a fast-paced SaaS and/or data products environment. Will have brought to market multiple product offerings over a very short amount of time.
  • 5+ years deep domain experience in one or more of the following: real world data, clinical trials, pharma competitive intelligence, market access and/or drug commercialization.
  • Can pivot easily and quickly from developing product vision to tactical product development.
  • Excellent communicator and ability to manage across a broad stakeholder set including product, technology, commercial and delivery
  • Ability to manage multiple, often times competing, priorities.
  • Excellent at simplifying and synthesizing complex and disparate data sets
  • Highly resourceful. Can influence across a broad set of stakeholders. With a strong data-centric approach, capably designs and implements frameworks that facilitate prioritization and decision making


Travel: < 25%

Location: Hybrid but US based willing to occasional travel as needed to various Norstella offices

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $170,000 to $250,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
