To provide strategic financial planning, lead and manage the budgeting process, and oversee all sides of an organizations accounting operations. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field; a masters degree or CPA is a plus. Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting. Desired working experience in a public school or charter school. Requirements: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. Proficiency in financial software and tools. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Valid Driver License

Responsibilities (but not limited to): Board Reporting Monthly financial reports o Balance sheets o Statement of revenues and expenditures with object level reporting o Check Register o Cash report/cash flow o Aging payables o Board meeting attendance Budget o Budget planning and development o Budget management and controls o Budget amendment Audits o Annual external CPA audit o Grant audits o Year-end accruals/reversals Authorizer Compliance o Quarterly Financials o Compliance submissions (Epicenter) Debit Service and Borrowing o Debt covenant compliance o Borrowing & refinance o Short term borrowing Cash Management COA Maintenance Banking o Banking relationship o Cash management o Investments Accounts Payable Management o Contract Management o Vendor onboarding o Maintaining required documentation Grant Management o Budget and planning o FERs o GSRP & IDEA Board Compliance o Board meeting attendance o Board report preparations (Financials) Travel to clients Additional duties as needed
