Video & Design Project ManagerBCForward is seeking for a highly motivated and talented Video and Design Project Manager Job Title: Video & Design Project Manager Duration: 5 months contract Location: Remote The Salesforce Employee Engagement Creative team is looking for talented and experienced Video & Design Project Manager to join our Project Management Team. The ideal candidate specializes in managing a high volume of video production projects from concept development to post-production and final delivery. This person should be proactive, creative, and capable of anticipating challenges and presenting thoughtful solutions. Previous experience managing projects where designers are creating digital media, websites, social media assets, and merchandise (e.g. t-shirts, stickers, water bottles) is a plus, but not a deal breaker (we'll provide training). This person can confidently lead project kick-off calls and stakeholder syncs in a fast-paced, solutions-oriented environment. This person is also great at keeping everyone engaged with an emphasis on achieving high-quality results, on time and in a positive way. Additionally, they communicate effectively, make decisions on the fly, and encourage collaboration between teams. You will join a team of two PMs and manage the work of a video art director and four designers, with 20-25 projects inflight on any given week. You must be able to: - Manage and oversee video pre-production, planning, and on-site video production, both in person and virtually. - Supervise stakeholders during video production. - Identify best practices for video and evolve daily operations as necessary. - Organize and facilitate project plans and lead meetings with authority. - Must be up to date on project status at all times and provide support to both the creative team members and stakeholders. - Communicate timelines and approval frameworks for cross-team understanding. - Identify, communicate, and recommend viable solutions to boost team efficiency and productivity. - Manage a large, dynamic scope of work with a variety of stakeholders across multiple teams, ensuring everyone is aligned and continually updated. - Provide timely status updates. - Identify and remove impediments that block the team's ability to meet project objectives. - Facilitate ongoing team discussions and work to resolve challenges. - Work, think, and pivot quickly in a fast-paced and fluid environment. - Work in person, as needed, with a San Francisco-based senior art director - Have a healthy sense of humor and a strong penchant for fun. Specific Knowledge/Skills: - A minimum of seven years of relevant PM experience, with a heavy emphasis on video production. - Proactive and results-oriented. - The ability to effectively use Google docs. - Working experience in Asana or related project management tool. - Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills (verbal/presentation/written). - Proven experience working with teams across multiple departments (cross-functional groups a plus). - Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously with multiple stakeholders with tight timelines. - Use of independent judgment and initiative to make recommendations and/or solve problems. - Very high attention to detail.
