About The Job

We are seeking a Part-time Social Media Video Editor for a longest-running dance competition. You will work under our Social Media SEO and marketing Director to create engaging and innovative content on our Social Media Platforms!

• Experience using DSLR Canon cameras for shooting photography and video.

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years years of experience with video editing in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Premiere and Photoshop.
• An intimate knowledge of the Social Media Platforms, (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, etc.).
• Love of social media, upcoming trends, and brand creation, promotion, & consistency.
• Knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices.
• Candidates must send a link to a Reel and/or portfolio.

• Associates Degree in Broadcasting, Video-Editing, or a similar field.
• 2+ years of combined social media, content creation, digital strategy and writing experience.
• Background in the Dance Industry.
• A strong technical background in video production and graphic design.
• Technical on-set experience with video production equipment and camera operation.
• Willing to travel to work some weekends as a B-Roll Photographer/Videographer during our Competition season (Late Jan-May).
• Separate Pay and Contract will be discussed.
• Applicants need not commit to every weekend.
• Travel, stay and food is arranged and paid for by Headliners. For most events staff travels Friday AM and return Monday AM.
