Experience Required

8. 10 + years of experience with working knowledge on IBM WCS 7/8/9
9. 5+ years of working knowledge on Apache Solr
10. Working Experience in SOAP/ Rest APIs
11. WCS Support Experience with working knowledge in Catalog, Marketing, Promotion, Order & Search Systems
12. Strong troubleshooting knowledge in live production ecommerce systems
13. Strong understanding of Web technologies, Grid System, responsive design principles, fluid layouts and positioning
14. 4Deep in-depth knowledge and hands on experience with ES5,ES6, HTML5, CSS3, CSS pre-processors
15. Expert Knowledge of vanilla JavaScript, XML, JSON, AJAX and JavaScript framework like jQuery, dojo
16. Experience developing custom WCS features
17. Experience interacting with 3rd party systems
18. Experience with front-end build tools such as Gulp.js and Node
19. A proven track record of developing software, web applications using JavaScript
20. Experience developing dynamic data driven web application front-end UIs and databinding
21. Experience in Service Management tools like Service Now, JIRA
22. Experience in using SQL, PL/SQL, or Oracle Database.
23. Experience in Linux Shell scripting

Roles & Responsibilities

WCS Architect

1. Should lead the team in technical and functional aspects of WCS/Ecommerce systems
2. Communicate with customer and TCS leadership on regular basis,
3. Lead team on severity issues, able to articulate the issue, provide root case and recommend solutions
4. Should be good in incident management
5. Should be able to debug issues on own and give solution with recommendation at detailed level with code snippet (if applicable)
6. Should maintain foster relationship within team and customer
