Manager Highlights:

Primary Duties Include:

• Order fulfillment, stocking and replenishment, and outbound shipping of customer orders. Performs related duties as assigned. MANUAL (BY HAND) PICKING

• If a fully automated, PkMS enabled environment, must be able to utilize the functions of the warehouse management system in order to perform daily tasks.
• Accurantely fills orders verifying quantity, size, strength, and NDC numbers.
• Checks each order after the order picking process is complete to ensure the product is placed and packed appropriate to prevent damage during transit; repacks orders when necessary following quality standards and procedures.
• Carefully places merchandise containers on conveyors as requested, ensuring the route information is visible.
• Verifies totes, cases, and paperwork are accurate prior to delivery.
• Promptly retrieves merchandise from floors, shelves and from conveyor.
• Carefully and securly wraps breakable items in protective covering as requested.
• Assists with tockeing shelves as requested.
• Assists with inventory procedures as requested.
• Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
• Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
• Have a good overall understanding of DC workflow and can work with minimal guidance

Experience And Educational Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is desired.
• Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year of equivalent work experience.
• Previous warehouse/distribution experience is preferred.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge And Ability Requirements

• Adequate mobility to continually walk and stand; pull orders from various shelf heights; and ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally is required.
• Must be able to read and understand English, have number recognition skills, and good hand/eye coordination.
• Exhibit a sense of urgency to ensure all deadlines are met. Computer knowledge is desirable.
