Description: - However, the FL will NOT be the main part of thier job.
- They will be picking/pulling into totes from flow racks, case putaways, and replenishments.
- Also need to feel comfotable lifting up to 40lbs and walking through the warehouse consistently. This will be a physical position with a possibility of temp to perm.
The Warehouse Team Member - The team member may be expected to do replenishments (restock active pick locations), put aways (stack product in back up locations), pick product to fulfill customer orders or pull product to fulfill replenishment requirements from reserve locations while driving equipment such as a single reach truck or order selector. All of these tasks require the ability to use and understand information shown on an RF unit.
- They should be able to lift up to 50 lbs (rarely) and may have to repeatedly lift or stack about 35 lbs frequently.
- They should be able to stand or walk the entire shift and are expected to work until the shift is done. This means that if it takes longer than 10 hrs to complete all the available work, we will stay until it's complete.
- Currently, we are working 11 hours 2-3 times a week and at least one Friday a month.
Primary duties and responsibilities: - Pick items with Radio Frequency (RF) device or pick ticket quickly and accurately.
- Ensure items picked are correct, verifying unit of measure, size, and quantity.
- Quality-check (QC) and pack customer orders with care and in an efficient / productive manner.
- Meet all required shipping deadlines.
- Receive and check incoming freight and accurately identify any discrepancies.
- Stock and rotate inventory accurately.
- Comply with all applicable federal and state laws.
- Replenish supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse..
- Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations pertaining to the operation.
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
- Perform related duties as assigned
Experience and educational requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent is desired.
- Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year of equivalent work experience.
- Previous warehouse/distribution experience is preferred.
Minimum skills, knowledge and ability requirements: - Adequate mobility to continually walk and stand; pull orders from various shelf heights; and ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally is required.
- Must be able to read and understand English, have number recognition skills, and good hand/eye coordination.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency to ensure all deadlines are met. Computer knowledge is desirable.
