This positions work assignments and tasks can change on a daily basis based on the immediate needs of the company but typically include maintaining daily inventory logs, organizing and inspecting inventory and filling orders.

Warehouse Leads who are certified to operate forklifts may also be responsible for moving shipments throughout the warehouse via a forklift. Others may assist with the heavy lifting of boxes and inventory weighing up to 75 pounds. Routine cleaning duties will also be assigned.


Responsibilities

  • Help develop and implement processing and procedures
  • Ensure GovX Principles
  • Fulfilling product order invoices
  • Inspecting finished or returned products for defects and damage
  • Picking inventory for package assembly
  • Receiving of inbound product and returns
  • Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor
  • Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping
  • Managing all merchandise with appropriate care
  • Creating shipping labels
  • Loading packages onto delivery trucks for shipping
  • Creating tracking reports
  • Ensuring that regulatory compliance requirements are met
  • Ensure Warehouse is neat and organized
  • And other duties as assigned by warehouse manager.


Position Type & Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch.
  • NO WEEKENDS

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills for interacting and coordinating with coworkers
  • Willingness to work as a team player
  • Problem-solving skills to effectively handle urgent issues
  • Flexibility to perform varied tasks
  • Physical stamina and strength to tolerate heavy lifting and standing for extended periods of time
  • Organizational skills when assembling packages and shipments
  • Basic math and computer literacy skills for creating invoices and other financial documents
  • Experience in a Warehouse setting is preferred but not required


Work Environment

This job operates in a professional environment subject to state and local health ordinances. This role routinely uses warehouse equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, pallet jacks, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. A hard hat is required when on the warehouse floor.

Pay Range

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour, with benefits listed above.
