Warehouse Lead

Warehouse lead to complete various management, organization and planning task to maintain a highly organized and performing warehouse that receives, stores, and manages inventory for Zensar customer. Duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order or restock
• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
• To be in warehouse and ensure warehouse operations are working as expected.
• Suggest improvement to be process and should be able to document those.
• Warehouse Deliveries - In and Out should be recorded well and should be available to track as and when required.
• Should have experience on managing IT (Workplace Services & Network) assets
• Follow IMACD Process and ensure all the inventory is tracked properly in the database.
• Establish warehouse practices and procedures to achieve an efficient warehouse.
• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with Zensar management and other team leads (i.e., DSS and Network)
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employee performance (if necessary)
• Ensure that safety practices are maintained.
• Communicate with client to ensure products are received in its entirety and in good condition, in a timely manner.
• Oversee asset tag management, imaging, and delivery of all PCs
• Manage equipment disposal process, to include audit, reporting, and disposal

Ultimately the warehouse operations lead should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. We are looking for a working lead who can hop on a forklift as needed to help with the team when we are short on staff as well.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 years proven work experience as a warehouse lead.
• 4-year college degree preferred
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Vendor Management UPS, FedEX, etc.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and high level of understanding of Warehouse Management System
• Ability to lead associates and maintain a safe work environment.
• Ability to lift 50lbs frequently without assistance.
• Ability to obtain a forklift operator certification depending on business need.
