Deacero USA, a leader in the world of mining and metals, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our warehouse facilities. As a member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that efficient processes are in place to manage inventory, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of how to optimize supply chain processes.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facilities, ensuring the efficient delivery of products and services to our customers.
  • Plan and schedule warehouse activities to ensure that inventory is managed effectively and orders are shipped and received on time.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel to ensure they are aligned with company objectives and customer needs.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure that goods are delivered on time and in the most cost-effective way.
  • Work with other departments to identify ways to optimize warehouse processes and ensure that our customers are receiving the best possible service.
  • Develop and implement procedures that ensure the safety and security of our warehouses, personnel, and products.
  • Continuously monitor operations to identify areas for improvement and develop and implement solutions to address these issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. Master's degree a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to collect and interpret data to drive business decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems and other software tools used to manage inventory and logistics.
