LAC Federal is seeking Part Time Warehouse Specialists for Occasional Swing Shifts and Weekend Shifts to assist in a complex inventory project for a major federal agency on Cabin Branch Dr. in Hyattsville, MD. Under the direction of a Warehouse/Inventory manager, the Specialists will perform a variety of warehouse and inventory duties including verifying the contents of boxes against a database and/or manifest, scanning items into a database, preparing materials for long-term storage, and reporting statistics of daily work completed.
Available Occasional Shifts are Swift Shifts (4:00 to 9:00 PM) Mondays through Friday and Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Candidates must be able to pass the standard Federal Government background screening to include criminal and credit.
Requirements
- HS/GED or equivalent
- 1-2 years of library inventory or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to follow complex instructions with exactness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pushcarts/trucks weighing 200+ lbs
