1 Resource Group, a professional/technical/skilled trades recruitment company specializing in construction, industrial, and manufacturing sectors, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker for our client in Pelham, Alabama (link removed) This is a Temp to Perm position working 40 hours weekly. Great benefits package offered once hired permanent!

As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. You will work with a team to ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. 1 Resource Group is committed to finding the best candidates for this position to ensure the success of our client's operation.

Responsibilities

• Process, package, and ship orders accurately with UPS, Air Freight and LTL shipments/.
• Ensure that incoming shipments are received and stored properly
• Maintain inventory control and stock organization
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Keep warehouse clean and organized
• Conduct routine inspections to identify any potential issues with products or the warehouse environment
• Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues related to warehouse operations
• Stage Finished product for loading
• Consult other employees on hazmat shipments to ensure shipments are labeled and documented correctly

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to maintain forklift certification.
• Minimum of one year general warehouse or tool room experience
• Knowledge of company product offering (construction tools and consumables), preferred
• Able to drive and safely operate a forklift, stock picker and pallet jack
• Experience using bar code readers, computer terminals (computer literate) and/or other electronic devices
• Solid mathematical abilities/aptitude
• Good communication/interpersonal skills required, with ability to respond to inquiries at all levels
• Capable of working at a fast pace, with excellent time management skills
• Strong attention to detail/follow-up
• Self-motivated, self-reliant, able to work with little direction
• Reliable/dependable (prompt, with good attendance)
• Capable of multi-tasking and flexible to change direction or focus as priorities dictate

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATION: IATAA/49 CFR Hazmat license may be required based on assigned role/responsibility.
