We are partnering with a company seeking a Water Treatment Technician in El Reno, OK. This role involves monitoring chemical treatment levels during frac stages, conducting water sample tests, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The successful candidate will follow company policies and procedures, maintain oversight of the unit, and verify equipment functionality. Responsibilities: - Monitor chemical treatment levels during frac stages.
- Pull and test water samples using various testing equipment.
- Conduct walk-arounds to check meters and gauges on equipment.
- Ensure daily operations comply with EPA and OSHA regulations.
- Complete and submit reports in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Inform the supervisor promptly of any issues.
- Stay on location to maintain oversight of the unit.
- Verify proper functioning of all equipment.
Requirements - Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Experience: 2-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands: - Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, and taste or smell.
- Frequently required to sit.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: - Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, and vibration.
- Frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather), work near moving mechanical parts, and work with explosives.
- Occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; and risk of radiation.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
