Job Description

Storage & Backup Administrator L3 - 8 - 10 years' work experience relevant to enterprise level storage and backup platforms in particular EMC Storage, NetApp Storage, Networker, Data Domain. - Should be a subject matter expert in: - Mandatorily either EMC or NetAppIBM Storage. - Additionally, at least in two of: - HP storage. - EMC Data Domain, IBM. - Experience on EMC (VNX, VMAX, Celera, XtremIO) and NetApp series storage arrays. - Broad and in-depth knowledge of SAN technologies design, planning, implementation, and maintenance. - Experience on troubleshoot and maintain SAN infrastructure performance, hardware, and connectivity. - Very good experience on Cisco and Brocade series FC switches. - Very good experience on SAN storage provisioning, LUN masking and zoning. - Experience on Storage capacity planning, performance analysis, monitoring, reporting. - Very good understanding NFS, CIFS, and Fibre Channel protocols. - Very good experience in supporting and managing the replication. - Experience supporting and troubleshooting medium to large scale, multi-site, enterprise storage environments. - Knowledge on multiple operating systems like windows, Linux, and UNIX. - Basic experience on Cisco Nexus Series Switches is an added advantage. - Hands on experience of working on monitoring tools management platforms. - Relevant certifications a must (either of EMC and NetApp, AND preferred at least one of HP storage, EMC Networker, Symantec NetBackup, Commvault). - Hands on experience on Additionally at least in two of: Commvault, Veeam, Veritas, NetBackup backup exec - Knowledgeable in creating backups for enterprise environment. - Configuring CommCell and its allied media agents. - Configuring CIFS and NFS shares from storage boxes to servers. - Capacity Planning -Backup data growth planning & procurement. - Identify opportunities for improving system performance in terms of backup time optimizing, minimize errors. - Providing solutions based on RPO and RTO standards. - Performing bare metal recovery and other form of restore operations at crisis. - Designing EBR environment for backups from VMware vSphere. - Managing MSSQL database backup and restore through NMM and Database agents. - Configuring schedule, storage policies and resource pools for backup. - Configuring storage resources and media agents in CommCell Role: Cloud System Administration Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting Department: IT & Information Security Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: IT Infrastructure Services Education UG: BCA in Any Specialization, B.Sc in Any Specialization, B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization PG: Any Postgraduate Doctorate
