The Infrastructure Engineer will support our partner's planned migration from WebSphere running on UNIX servers to Tomcat running on Ruby on Rails.

What You'll Get to Do:

• Perform installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned technology.
• Manage system/application environment and ongoing operations.
• Ensure that the technologies are updated with current, stable, and compliant architecture and applications that meet enterprise standards.
• Research, design, implement, and test technology solutions.
• Proactively monitor and report on performance and utilization of assigned technologies.
• Troubleshoot software and/or hardware issues/failures.
• Resolve alerts and perform remediation activities.
• Manage problem or escalated tickets and tasks and out of cycle requests from systems/software owners.
• Collect and present data for reporting and planning.
• Assist with developing tactical strategies, processes and procedures related to systems/application administration.
• Determine migration, upgrade impacts, and diagnose/resolve complex technology/application errors.
• Collaborate with IT and business area partners on work groups and initiatives.
• Determine the best course of action for meeting business needs.
• Provide input into infrastructure architecture designs.
• Writes programming/scripting.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and exercises.
• Ensure execution and alignment to architectural standards and blueprints.
• Contribute input to infrastructure architecture.
• Perform on-call activities as needed for the environment and technologies.

You'll Bring these Qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience as a Tomcat Administrator with experience building Tomcat servers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with WebSphere administration.
• Prior healthcare payer experience.
• Prior experience supporting a migration from WebSphere running on UNIX server to Tomcat running on Ruby on Rails.
• Prior experience with IBM MQ.
• Python/Ansible scripting and automation experience.
• IBM DataPower experience.
