UWorld seeks a UX Designer to work on designs related to our website. The successful candidate will create a repository of brand-approved layouts website elements, as well as combine interfaces with workflows to enhance the user experience on our website. A strong portfolio of success web-related UX designs is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop wireframes and prototypes for various web pages
  • Build optimized designs for product, pillar, blog, and click-funnel pages
  • Understand website architecture, layout, and design in order to implement web design best practices
  • Create a repository of approved web-design features (buttons, callouts, carousels, features, social proof, etc.)
  • Recommend creative designs to solve UX problems (usability, improve conversions)
  • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
  • Ensure brand consistency

Requirements

Minimum Education Required

Bachelors degree in graphic design, computer science, marketing, business or a relevant field

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a UX designer, UI designer, or similar role
  • Wireframing
  • UX research
  • UI prototyping
  • Ability to create web page mockups quickly
  • Familiarity with user flow
  • Information architecture
  • Application development
  • Proficient with design software
  • Strong portfolio of web design projects
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas in a collaborative environment
  • Solid organizational, planning, and self-motivation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines

Required Experience

  • 5 years experience as a UX or UI designer (preference will be given to those with UX design experience related to website design and development)
  • Deep experience with design software, including but not limited to Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, UXPin, Balsamiq
  • Portfolio required upon application

Preferred but not Required

  • Working knowledge of CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
  • Knowledge of Agile
