Who you are

An excellent customer service to our clients, you will be responsible for assisting customers with product selection, processing. transactions, and tracking inventory levels. You will also receive and organize shipments of flowers and supplies, as well as assist with restocking and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with the Wedding/Events specialist to plan and execute weddings and events, which include floral arrangements, dcor, and scheduling.
  • Assist with client consultations, listen to the client's needs and preferences, provide advice, and answer questions. Consult the Wedding/Events specialist for any questions, issues, or concerns.
  • Participate in the design process by developing, pricing, and presenting proposals, as well as creating floral arrangements.
  • Communicate with vendors and other team members to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, as well as an inventory of supplies and materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Set up and break down events, occasionally after hours depending on client needs.
  • Attend industry events to attract new clients.
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, including active listening and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well both in a team and independently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Creativity and exceptional floral design skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong customer service skills, including patience, empathy, and problem-solving.
  • General knowledge of flower names is a plus.
  • Must be able to work in a retail flower shop and occasionally work on-site at events.
  • The work environment may be fast-paced and require extended periods of standing and lifting.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, which may include evenings and weekends.
