The Weekend Clinical Supervisor is a House Manager that oversees all clinical operations and provides supervision and oversight to RNs, LVNs, and CNAs. Specific tasks for this role will be assigned by the Senior Nurse Executive.
Job Description
- Directs and supervises the nursing staff in rendering patient care in various assigned units; makes assignments and supervises activities and evaluates work performance.
- Provides support and guidance to the clinical team.
- Checks each units to assure compliance with instructions.
- Prepares and reviews related time and work performance reports and makes changes in assignments as required or as directed.
- Personally makes periodic routine visits; confers with nurse managers and staff nurses concerning all new patients; makes bedside visits to all seriously and critically ill patients; discusses specific problems with assigned nurses or NPs.
- Investigates complaints of patients and staff members; resolves difficulties or refers to executive leadership; utilizes and makes interpretations of existing policies as related to nursing care in specific departments; reports unusual occurrences to Senior Nurse Executive.
- Establishes and maintains good relations and morale among all assigned personnel.
- Participates in planning and coordinating with other departments to promote and provide maximum patient care; maintains high quality of in-service training and adequacy of training materials in order to insure continuous best performances.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience providing direct care and supervision in SNF or Acute setting
- Nursing degree from accredited college or graduation from approved LVN/LPN or RN program
- Current unencumbered license to practice as an LVN/LPN or RN in the state
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
- Strong leadership skills
- Should be comfortable with teaching, speaking, presenting, supervising, and holding staff accountable
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

Saturday & Sunday
8:30am - 5:00pm
