Main duties and responsibilities:

• Washing dishes.
• Sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and waste bins.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Sort and remove trash and recycling, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Sweeping and sanitizing floors, maintaining cleanliness of all work areas in facility.
• Maintaining kitchen work areas and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Cleaning, maintaining, and troubleshooting heavy kitchen appliances (mixers, fryers, ovens/ranges, grease trap, etc.).
• Stocking delivered inventory supplies and goods in proper locations.
• Transferring supplies or equipment between storage and work areas.
• Communicating with team members to produce effective work results.
• Maintaining Refrigerator and Freezer Temperature Logs.

Hours of Shift: Saturday and Sunday between 6-8 hours each; typically, between 7AM-3PM or 12PM-7PM depending on selected scheduling availability. This role can also be extended to a Bakery Team Member role during the week if FT hours are desired.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
• Previous kitchen cleaning experience.
• Familiarity with three-compartment sink, mop sink, and basic sanitation protocols.
• Hold high standards for cleanliness for each element in a kitchen.
• Able to follow directions and perform required tasks consistently.
• Dependable and ready to work at time of each scheduled shift.
• Energetic, disciplined focus on responsibilities.
• Flexibility and maturity to work as a member of a team.
• Motivated, good attitude, willingness to work.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
