As a WordPress Developer you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development and creating WordPress themes and plugins and working with WordPress at a PHP code level Hands-on experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript PHP. Looking for a suitable candidate who can make custom themes and plugins from scratch.


Requirements-


  • Develop and maintain WordPress plugins, themes, and templates using PHP and other web development languages.
  • Design and implement customized solutions to meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and project managers, to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects.
  • Troubleshoot and debug WordPress sites, plugins, and themes, identifying and fixing issues as needed.
  • Optimize WordPress sites for speed, security, and scalability, ensuring they perform optimally and are able to handle high volumes of traffic.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development and apply them to improve existing products and services.
  • Provide technical support to clients and stakeholders, helping them resolve issues with their WordPress sites and plugins.
  • Write clean, well-documented code that is easy to understand and maintain.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of projects and ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Continuously improve your skills and knowledge of WordPress development, participating in training and development opportunities as needed.


Required qualifications for a WordPress PHP developer typically include:


  • Proven experience as a WordPress developer, with a strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with WordPress plugin and theme development, including custom post types, taxonomies, and meta fields.
  • Familiarity with WordPress APIs, such as the REST API, and their implementation in plugins and themes.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of best practices in WordPress development, including security, performance optimization, and accessibility.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development.
