As a Political Canvasser you will be an essential part of our on-the-ground efforts. You will engage with voters, spread awareness about our candidate and campaign, and inspire individuals to participate in the democratic process. Your responsibilities will include:

**Responsibilities:**

- Conducting door-to-door canvassing in assigned neighborhoods to engage voters in meaningful conversations about our candidate and campaign.

- Listening actively to voters' concerns, opinions, and questions, and providing informative and empathetic responses.

- Educating voters on our candidate's stance on key issues and the importance of their participation in the upcoming election.

- Utilizing persuasive communication skills to encourage voter registration, early voting, and turnout on election day.

- Adhering to campaign messaging and guidelines to ensure consistent and accurate communication with voters.

- Capturing and recording valuable voter insights and feedback to inform campaign strategy.

- Collaborating with fellow canvassers and campaign staff to share best practices and successes.

- Participating in training sessions to enhance your canvassing techniques and knowledge of campaign policies.

- Meeting daily and weekly performance goals to contribute to the success of the campaign.

**Qualifications:**

- Strong passion for political engagement, social justice, and the goals of the campaign.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with voters from diverse backgrounds.

- Empathy and active listening skills to address voter concerns and questions effectively.

- Enthusiasm for face-to-face interactions and comfortable with door-to-door canvassing.

- Ability to adapt to varying voter responses and maintain a positive and respectful demeanor.

- Prior canvassing, political activism, or community organizing experience is a plus.

- Basic understanding of local and national political issues and processes.

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as voter engagement often occurs during these times.
