ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES for BA/Functional Consultant
Provide PeopleSoft functional consulting services for PeopleSoft Academic Advising, by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire systems development lifecycle
Work on all project phases as a PeopleSoft Academic Advising Functional Lead, including fit/gap, configuration, and testing
Assist clients in fully integrating the PeopleSoft Academic Advising system into their current business environments and provide input on best practices
Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts of PeopleSoft Academic Advising on other processes or systems
Configure the PeopleSoft Academic Advising system to meet each client's business requirements
Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
Report progress to clients and project managers
Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering PeopleSoft Academic Advising solutions
Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology
Demonstrated ability to manage project scope and client expectations
Demonstrated follow-through on assignments and issue resolution
REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of 10-12 years PeopleSoft experience
Experience working in a Higher Education or Public Sector environment
PeopleSoft 9.2 experience or higher
Upgrade and implementation experience
Ability to work on all project phases of a PeopleSoft Academic Advising project: Project Preview, Fit/Gap Analysis, Setup and Testing
Solid experience with PeopleSoft Academic Advising implementations
