Verista is currently seeking an individual who has a strong understanding of Planisware's algorithm design, development, and resource forecasting. The role will be responsible for the technical design, development, testing, implementation, and technical maintenance of algorithms for R&D functions within Planisware. The ability to analyse existing algorithms, understanding their potential and limitations, and suggesting areas for improvement is essential. The incumbent will have excellent problem-solving skills, be comfortable working with large amounts of data, and have an aptitude for troubleshooting and debugging.


This role requires onsite work in Gaithersburg, MD 3 days a week.

Typical Responsibilities Include:

  • Technical design and creation of Planisware algorithms that deliver project plan forecasts quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Improve the outputs and performance of existing algorithms.
  • Analysis and data interpretation of resource forecasts to inform the priority and appropriateness of algorithm outputs (for existing algorithms and algorithms in development).
  • Be able to clearly articulate and communicate the impact of algorithm developments and changes.
  • Work closely with Planisware experts to ensure the newly developed algorithms are compatible with existing and upcoming system updates.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our resource forecasting approach evolves and keeps step with industry best practices.
  • Maintenance and update of the Resource Breakdown Structure to reflect the organizational skills.


Requirements

  • University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Sciences, Data Sciences or Programming.
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process.
  • Good knowledge and experience of Planisware or equivalent PPM tools. Including design, creation, testing and implementing resource forecasts.
  • Experience of coding/scripting (for example, java).
  • Strong analytical skills to effectively create recommendations, influence decision-making, assess impacts, compare solutions, problem solve, and achieve business and/or technical objectives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with experience of effective working in a multi-cultural team.
  • Exceptional customer focus/engagement/stakeholder management skills
  • Flexibility to react to different customer needs for data/information/advice and to suggest innovative solution to problems

The actual salary is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, market demand, and competitive market practice. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Salary Range: $85,500 - $120,000
