  • Work on support tickets assigned from the company Help Desk Ticketing System, updating the system with work performed
  • Image / provision laptops, desktops, VoiP phones and VDI systems for new employees, ensure that all machines are properly configured for employee first use
  • Backup and Transfer data from old systems to new systems
  • Check in and inventory of all new PC equipment & peripherals
  • Maintain inventory of assets in our asset management software
  • Install software updates and security patches on client computers
  • Provides technical assistance to resolve issues related to computer hardware and software, including printing and Windows / Mac operating systems
  • Basic knowledge of NTFS, File/Folder permissions and privileged access
  • Assists with PC and peripheral setups for customer walkups
  • Work with waste vendors to decommission / recycle old assets
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in IT related discipline or a minimum of 2 years' experience on a technical Service Desk or a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • COMPTIA A+ or Network+
  • Familiarity with deploying Windows 10 and Microsoft Intune.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
  • Prior Experience with VMWare View Administrator, Office 365 and IT Asset Management
  • Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role
  • Minimum of 1 year supporting Windows 7/10 on a Service Desk
  • Working knowledge of computer diagnostic utilities
  • Basic knowledge of commercial software licensing agreements
  • Understanding of Active Directory objects for management of users and computers
  • Must have good customer service and teamwork skills, a positive attitude, good judgement, technical and analytical aptitude

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $18 - 23 hourly. Many factors will be taken into consideration when determining the compensation rate for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, etc.
