Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Efficiency Project Coordinator Team Lead to join our growing team in Chicago. As an Energy Efficiency Project Coordinator Team Lead with Resource Innovations, you will provide vital administrative support for commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs. Additionally, you will perform a range of tasks to support the programs in achieving energy savings goals by using program systems and procedures to assess project eligibility, tracking, and reporting project milestones, and processing incentive applications. The Project Coordinator Team Lead will also support new initiatives, lead customer and contractor communications, and assist with budget tracking and other internal projects as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Supports Program Managers and program teams in project development, tracking and analysis, and management of energy efficiency projects.
Accurately responds to requests and inquiries from program participants, trade allies, and clients in a professional and timely manner, ensuring high level of customer service.
Prepares weekly and monthly reports for internal and external purposes, ensuring compliance with terms of contract, relevance of content, and professional presentation.
Supports outreach efforts to program customers, contractors, and vendors.
Coordinates with internal support and cross functional teams including Operations, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Marketing.
Works with team to identify opportunities to improve program tools and processes, assisting program teams with process optimization.
Participates in team meetings to provide updates and address action items.
Manages data and uses database system(s) to track project details, milestones, and deliverables.
Ensures adherence to internal and system protocols using Resource Innovations systems, documents, and tools.
Compiles and reviews project documentation for incentive processing, ensuring data integrity and quality control of systems and processes.
Assists program teams in collecting missing data.
Identifies and escalates issues as appropriate and recommends strategies to address issues.
Provides technical document review (operational procedures, equipment specifications, etc.).
Tracks multiple task or project deadlines and alerts manager in advance of conflicts.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A B.S. or B.A. or relevant work experience in energy, environment, public policy, or technical field is required
2+ years of previous project coordination or related work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft suite
Superior organization and time management skills
Previous experience providing high-quality customer service and the ability to address customer issues/concerns
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience with CRM software preferred
Previous supervisory experience preferred
