SciTec has an immediate opportunity for a talented Financial Analyst/General Ledger Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting functions
• Develop, analyze and maintain cash flow and other financial models
• Reconcile general ledger and job cost ledger
• Implement automation of accounting operations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance with accounting courses
• At least 3 years of experience in cash flow and financial modeling
• Experience with General Ledger operations including AP, AR, and financial reporting
• Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals

• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office software
• Must be a US citizen
• Demonstrated attention to detail

• Experience with federal contract accounting including indirect rate analysis preferred

• Strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

The pay range for this position is $85,723 - $103,475 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. This is not a guarantee of compensation.
