Salary: $ 75,000.00 We have partnered with a large software company in the Montvale, NJ area to provide with an Account Manager - Financial Reporting. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested. Responsibilities of the Account Manager Financial Reporting: The Account Manager supports the client base by overseeing all areas relating to budgeting, financial reporting and accounting functions of assigned clients. Working with key stakeholders from assigned clients, the Account Manager is expected to take initiative in developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures towards accurately reporting and forecasting the financial health of client base. Assist clients in creating an annual budget, tracking expenses, and managing monthly contributions Manage the preparation and dissemination of year-end 1099's for appropriate vendors Work with Accounts Payable Manager on monthly invoicing of client accounts and general billing issues Maintain accurate records in order to reflect the financial condition of the clients Develop documents following a prescribed format Requirements of the Account Manager Financial Reporting: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 5+ years' experience in public accounting or equivalency Experience with non-profit and restricted funds accounting and reporting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to deal with variety of options in varying situations Advanced analytical and quantitative skills Excellent customer service skills ability to adapt to changing client needs / demands Skill adaptability to meet changing job conditions Experience in standard bookkeeping and record keeping, operations or financial reporting Project management skills Experience with developing financial, profit, and loss statements Experience with developing budgets Basic math skills including using factions, percentages, and ratios Understand complex, multistep written and oral instructions Have a knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles Experience with General Ledger systems Experience working with external auditors and the auditing process Intermediate-level knowledge of Excel Excellent written and oral communication skills, must be able to explain accounting in simple terms for non-accountants as well as accountants An unquestionable work ethic and the ability to accomplish established goals Ability to manage resources motivate and train client and internal resources on Kesef systems A high degree of attention to detail Multi-tasking and planning skills capable of handling multiple high-priority projects/audits along with routine responsibilities The ability to concentrate for extended periods (several hours) with interruptions Preferred experience of the Account Manager Financial Reporting: Experience with Quickbooks Experience with ShulCloud Experience with Intuit Statement Writer Controller-level experience for small to mid-sized company Benefits of the Account Manager Financial Reporting: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Short / Term Long Term Disability 401 (k) Profit Sharing Plan About Relevante, Inc. the Recruiting Firm Representing the Client for this Job Relevante is an accounting & technology direct hire recruiting and contract staffing firm.
