Lead Web Developer San Diego, Day 1 onsite Longterm Contract We are looking for a Lead Web Developer to join our IoT team. We are an innovative, passionate, and fun-loving team working in a start-up spirit in areas which have direct impact on our company's success. You will join our global team influencing our technology roadmap and making a difference in our customers life. Additionally, you will - Lead a team to write and deliver code that is modular, highly scalable, and robust to achieve better quality, satisfy stakeholders and delight customers.
- Continuously improve software engineering practices, educate the broader organization of best practices
- Conduct Design and code reviews to ensure code adheres to development standards.
- Coach and mentor junior developers as needed to build code to adhere to standards.
- Collaborate with product owners and other tech teams for delivering optimal technology solutions.
- Overview security vulnerabilities of the application and define strategies to overcome them.
- Integrate continuous delivery best practices into the development workflow.
- Building dynamic and adaptable web applications
- Delivering comprehensive front-end software
- Using modern tooling for rapid development, integrated automated testing and high performance.
- Developing front-end application and reusable UI components.
- Making decisions regarding technical and design aspects of the Angular project
- Debugging issues in the application code to ensure it is working correctly.
- Integrating third-party libraries with the codebase to extend its functionality.
- Communicating with other team members on any pending tasks or changes in the project.
What we seek - 8+ years of experience in developing web applications.
- Experience in building cloud-based (AWS)web applications
- Understanding of AWS cloud front distribution service.
- Cultivate a diverse range of experiences by actively engaging with product, business, and UX designers.
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
- At least 4 years of experience in javascript frameworks such as Angular 14, ReactJs, AngularJs, jQuery, BackboneJs and NodeJs
- A willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
- Understanding REST web services
- Understanding the best SEO practices
- Familiarity with Node package manager (NPM) and other web application build tools.
- Familiar with Unit test frameworks like Jasmine and Karma
- Familiar with web application automation frameworks like Selenium and protractor etc.
