A Remote Business Coordinator is a professional responsible for overseeing and coordinating travel-related activities for a business or organization. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in travel booking systems and tools. Roles & Responsibilities
Coordinate and book flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities for business travelers based on company policies and budget constraints.
Review individuals needs and wants for travel, to ensure you can cater a trip specially designed to meet their needs.
Collaborate with clients to fine-tune itineraries and make necessary adjustments.
Utilize booking systems and platforms to secure flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
Utilize travel booking platforms and tools to secure reservations and negotiate rates.
Liaise with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
Develop detailed travel itineraries, including flight schedules, accommodation details, ground transportation options, and activity suggestions.
Review budgets, and plan trips according to clients budget constraints
Monitor and manage travel budgets, providing cost-effective options while adhering to company spending guidelines.
Stay up to date on changes within the tourism industry.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing timely responses to inquiries and updates.
Book travel needs (airline, car rental, hotel accommodations, cruise, ticket/event sales, etc.
Offer expert advice on travel destinations, itineraries, and options.
Promptly respond to all travel inquires.
Effectively manage your time when researching trips and communicating with clients
Handle issues that may arise during the bookings and/or travel for clients
Assist in preparing and submitting expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Establish and maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, travel agencies, and other travel service providers to ensure seamless and efficient travel experiences.
Ensure compliance with company-specific travel policies and guidelines.
Requirements
Must be at least 18years of age and be authorized to work within the US.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Must be able to effectively communicate with clients ( sales background a plus)
Must have a smartphone with internet access, laptop recommend.
Personal travel experience is a huge plus, however not required
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality also a plus, but not required
