Job Description

The QA Lead will be responsible for leading the manual and automation testing to ensure the best quality for our products. Also, we are looking for a senior person who can develop, maintain the automation scripts and own the automation efforts.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute test plans for both feature and regression testing based on QA strategy
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Selenium, Java, Cucumber, Appium, Maven , RestAssured, TestNG.
• Manage test automation throughout our development and infrastructure systems
• Maintain the automated regression suites as per the feature requirements.
• Perform in sprint manual testing, regression testing for releases.
• Manage QA efforts for the team and work with other QA members to ensure quality for every release.
• Ensure test environment availability and test data access is available
• Work closely with developers and triad(BA, PO and Team Lead) for the quality assurance of the features.
• Ensure adherence to QA standards are met
• Provide User Testing and Production Launch support as needed
• Validate bugs and communicate updates on items found to the project team for prioritization
• Following ATDD practices
• Provide suggestions to improve automation and test processes
• Conduct code reviews, improve and maintain quality of automation code

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ Years of experience in Test Automation role
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
• Experience working in an agile scrum environment.
• Ability to create test cases and QA Test Strategy documents based on client requirements and specifications
• Experience in Defect Management and Application Lifecycle Management tools such as Jira.
• Experience in Web Browser testing on multiple platforms
• Experience working with cross browser testing tools like Lambdatest.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries
• Ability to analyze application logs for issues
• Excellent process/project/people management skills while managing multiple priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and develop the appropriate test approach quickly is essential
• Excellent team player with go-getter attitude
• Works independently under minimal direction with strong work ethic
• Determine test data requirements for new tests
• Strong communicator able to work closely with counterparts in a cross-functional, Agile team setting, to understand product needs and implement the right tests
• Knowledge of JIRA, Postman
• Knowledge of Applitools and Axe add-in for testing ADA is a plus
