Machine Operator Direct Hire to start

The primary function of this position is to ensure that the manufacturing process for the line under his/her responsibility is executed and maintained to the highest level of Quality, while maintaining proper machine operating procedures, performing Preventive Maintenance tasks and assist with tooling changeovers for Injection and Blow Molding process equipment. Direct Hire positions for 2nd and 3rd shift: $17.80 - $18.00 an hour, with wage increases at 60 days, 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years, in addition to yearly company wide wage reviews! Requirements Duties Responsible to manage all aspects of the production process, from raw material through to packaging finished parts Lead role in line start-ups, monitor machine performance, product quality and ensure the machine is producing at standard rates and minimal scrap levels Perform and document process checks, at the prescribed frequency Adjust process to maintain consistent smooth operation Responsible for some regular machine function checks and preventative maintenance Assist and/or perform tooling changeovers Communicate to Lead Hand and Plant Management key issues with equipment Smooth, efficient production process, achieving target cycle times and quality yieldsComplete communication and documentation of all issues
Qualifications Experience with EBM (Extrusion blow molding) or RHSB (Reheat stretch blow molding) platforms a plus Good knowledge of basic statistics and the applications of statistical tools in process control and product monitoring Strong hands-on experience in working with machinery and/or plastics processing. Basic knowledge of theories and principles that apply in Plastics Processing, Manufacturing Machinery and Tooling Experience, working in a related industry. Excellent communicator oral and written Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products Good general knowledge of hand tools and how to apply Capable of comfortably lifting a 50 lb box from the floor, to place on a shelf or pallet 60 inches off the floor, using proper safe practiceBenefits - Direct Hire position
- 2nd shift: $17.80 to start (up to $20.20 after first year)
- 3rd shift $18.00 to start (up to $20.40 after first year)
