Job Description:

Serve as a COBOL/DB2 mainframe developer for Unemployment Compensation system; can define, plan, design, develop and support COBOL/DB2/SQL

Can research and review system design and technical documentation in order to develop planned and ad-hoc solutions as presented.

Can prepare documentation outlining the changes made to system and present changes to peers in written and oral formats

Has effective communication between peers, project managers and business partners

Will attend waterfall and Agile design and scrum sessions and have the ability to debrief management and team members on meeting content

Ability to work in both Waterfall and Agile development

Must have skills

Mainframe

COBOL

JCL

DB2

SQL

Certifications or Desired skills if any

Experience in Unemployment systems a big plus
