We are seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join our team and help us attract and hire top talent for a wide range of positions across our organization. In this role, you will work closely with hiring managers and teams to understand their needs and help define and execute recruiting strategies to best source, evaluate, and coordinate with candidates from hourly entry-level positions to senior level C-suite positions. You will be responsible for ensuring a positive candidate experience and supporting and improving the full-cycle recruitment process.


Objectives

  • Support business units with recruiting efforts by preparing materials for and collaborating with hiring managers and stakeholders across different industries and functions
  • Generate a strong pipeline of diverse job candidates dedicated to alternative economic structures and worker ownership for entry- to senior-level roles by identifying and executing effective sourcing strategies
  • Effectively assess quality of candidates by developing and facilitating robust evaluation methods
  • Improve final conversion rate by proactively engaging with and providing a positive recruiting experience for candidates
  • Facilitate smooth transition of converted applicants into onboarding process by collaborating with people operations
  • Provide transparency and support effective decision-making in hiring by maintaining, updating, and improving recruiting systems, processes, records, and metrics
  • Ensure a fair, equitable, and compliant recruiting process by understanding and abiding by regulations and DEI best practices
  • Achieve all of our goals in alignment with our values

Requirements

  • the ability to quickly learn job requirements and translate needs of teams into effective recruiting materials and evaluation methods
  • experience executing modern sourcing strategies and tactics such as job descriptions, job boards, social media, networking, and branding
  • experience with evaluation methods including resume and application review, developing screening and interview questions, managing interview stages, and facilitating debriefs
  • the ability to prioritize, manage, and make decisions on multiple projects simultaneously with little oversight
  • proactive, transparent, and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
  • strong admin skills including data entry, recordkeeping, and organization and familiarity with Workable or other applicant tracking systems (ATS)

Preferred qualifications

  • a knack for building, documenting, and improving processes and solving problems independently in a quickly shifting startup environment
  • knowledge of effective sourcing and evaluation methods for various job levels
  • basic understanding of metrics and/or data analysis
  • working knowledge of methods and processes that promote DEI in hiring
  • understanding of federal, state, and local hiring regulations and policies

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, net disposable income, and performance. The range listed is one component of Obrans total compensation package for employees/members. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Cooperative Membership, an open Paid Time Off policy.
