About the Client: We are working with a highly reputable, global financial services firm based in Hong Kong. Rather than treating AI as an experimental side-project, they are heavily investing in a centralized AI Platform team to build out scalable tools for their global user base. The engineering culture here is practical, delivery-focused, and heavily reliant on modern AWS cloud infrastructure.

The Role & Landscape: This is a senior, "player-coach" position reporting directly to the Platform Director. You will act as the hands-on captain for a small team of engineers. This isn't a pure management role where you just shuffle Jira tickets; you will be deep in the codebase, driving the technical direction for specific domains like RAG and Agent Frameworks.
- Build the Foundation: Design and implement agentic workflows and multi-agent orchestration using LangChain and LangGraph.
- Code & Review: Spend a significant portion of your time doing actual engineering work in Python and Java, building REST APIs (FastAPI/Flask), and reviewing your team's code.
- Architecture to Execution: Take high-level architectural blueprints and break them down into executable, technical tasks for your engineers.
- Productionize Models: Work heavily with AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker), PostgreSQL, and Cosmos DB, ensuring solutions are containerized (Docker/Kubernetes) and meet enterprise security standards.

What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 8+ years of total software engineering experience, with at least 2 years directly involved in AI/ML engineering or MLOps in an enterprise environment.
- Core Languages: Strong, hands-on programming skills in Python and Java.
- AI/LLM Stack: Deep, practical experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or n8n.
- Cloud & Infra: Solid understanding of AWS (specifically GenAI services), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and database management.
- Leadership: A Solutions Architect mindset combined with the willingness to write code. You know how to estimate complexity, run technical grooming sessions, and mentor engineers.
- Language: Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
