Shiva Transport Ltd. located at 15397-117 Avenue, Suite 205, Edmonton AB Canada T5M 3X4 is looking to recruit 3 long haul truck drivers for their fleet operating in major destinations all over Canada and US.

Job Requirements/Details:
No. of Positions: 3 (Fulltime/Permanent)
Salary: $29.50/hr for 50-60 hours per week.

Education: Minimum High School
Credentials: Driver's License Class 1 or equivalent
Security and Safety: Valid passport, Driver's validity licence check, Drug test
Experience: Previous experience is an asset. On job training will be provided
Languages: Read, Write and Speak English
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor Trailer
Type of Travel: Long Haul, Canada wide and US destinations
Specific Skills: Driver must be able to drive as 2-person team.
Documentation Knowledge: Knowledge of Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports

Duties to be performed:
Driver must also be able to drive an articulated truck to transport goods and materials, loading and unloading goods, plan travel schedules and routes, oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights brakes and other equipment. Also, perform brake adjustments, monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness and perform preventative maintenance. Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers. Willing to travel for extended periods
