Registered Nurse - Travel LPN

Location - Medford, MA

Contract - 8 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours - 24

Travel LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse:

Licensed practical nurses (LPN's) fill important roles in modern healthcare practices. Their primary job duty is to provide routine care, observe patients' health, assist doctors and registered nurses, and communicate instructions to patients regarding medication, home-based care, and preventative lifestyle changes.

Job Responsibilities of LPN:

  • Provides nursing services including the administration of medications and injections to patients as directed by the providers.
  • Documents patient's current medication list, including name(s) of medications, dosages, frequency, duration and start date.
  • Administers medication and treatment as prescribed through written Provider orders They also help patients bathe, eat, and get dressed, as well as help them move in bed, stand, or walk. LPNs work closely with patients; they are responsible for knowing a patient's health history.
  • They must monitor how patients are feeling and how they react to medications and treatments.
  • Registry Personnel must bring a state or federal issued identification to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times.
  • Agency staff must provide a copy of a negative COVID-19 test result with the sample being taken one week or less prior to the start date on all contract assignments or alternatively a proof of full vaccination. Results must be in hand in order to start the contract assignment.
  • Agency employees may not work in the center until the negative result is received. Guaranteed Hours cannot be billed for a delayed start due to pending results.
  • Once the contract is started, agency staff will also need to follow the normal testing protocol of that particular center. An attestation confirming this initial negative result is not acceptable to begin the contract assignment.

Requirements of LPN:

  • Minimum 6 months of Travel LPN
  • Experience is required BLS Certification
  • Excellent communication skills
