Description:
Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer - Metals Center
Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies. Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build. Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans. Investigates technical problems. Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience. Completely understands and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts. Possesses general knowledge of other related disciplines. Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Develops solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions. Receives general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelors Degree
Assembly Process knowledge
Experience with Fabrication & Assembly
Experience with Computer Aided Design Tools
Experience Technical Writing
Engineering Process knowledge
Experience with Metallic Materials
