Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for locating, delivering and removing raw materials, in-process and finished goods throughout the manufacturing process.
• Works with team to put items away and clean the supermarket, consignment, shipping and receiving.
• Works with lean team to develop and implement appropriate process improvements in team area.
• In conjunction with Supply Chain/Accounting, solves issues relative to inventory discrepancies and documentation problems. Performs cycle counts and inventory adjustments as needed.
• Works with team to cross train and cover areas when employees are absent or when an area is over capacity. These areas include but are not limited to the supermarket, consignment, shipping and receiving.
• Ensures material is put away in accordance to FIFO process and delivered to the appropriate areas.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

• 2 - 3 years of manufacturing related experience.
• Receiving and material handling experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to operate hand trucks, etc. to move materials.
• Must have the ability to read and understand both written and oral directions.
• Must be able to utilize and understand computer material transactions.
