The challenge
XXX's B2B Marketing Operations team is passionate about helping marketers deliver exceptional customer experiences and get results through operational excellence. Our goal is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs in support of our business, which includes Creative Cloud and Document Cloud B2B products. In this role, you will help shape, implement, and execute our Marketing operations model as we extend services to multiple business units and global teams. Focus heavily on Marketing Automation standards and practices and requires hands-on experience in solution design, Workfront system administration, campaign Ops measurement and vendor teams
The role will require working closely with internal and external partners to identify current operating models (across people, process, technology and data) and collect
requirements to advise our approach. Identify quick wins and propose a phased approach to achieving greater operational maturity. Implement our MOPS models and
services with a blend of business and technical know-how.
Additional responsibilities include configuration in Workfront Salesforce and additional marketing technology systems as needed. Marketo Certification and Salesforce
experience is required. Previous experience in project management, work management solutions (Workfront, Jira, Asana), and system integrations is desired.
This position is contract to hire and reports to the Marketing Operations Manager, Digital Media Enterprise.
This is a remote role but may require some in-office hours in San Jose, CA once offices reopen.
What you'll do:
Work directly with stakeholders to understand and detail their needs to deliver a prescriptive solution of Workfront
Lead discovery, design, API configuration, and launch of a Workfront instance, following a validated methodology and approach, to effectively enable
customers to achieve their outstanding business objectives using Workfront
Review and analyze campaign operations requirements, respond and satisfy gaps, identify risks & issues, and develop solutions accordingly
Work with other members of the team to deliver solutions within an agreedupon timeline
Increase adoption of Workfront to solve problems not yet identified by the client, ultimately growing the business value and return on Workfront investment
Develop project plans, design documents, roadmaps, templates, layouts, queues, custom forms, reports and other project artifacts that align with the defined requirements and plan created during the implementation cycle.
Serve as a workflow/process configuration mentor, coach, knowledge resource, and partner concern point for client
Find opportunities for growth and continuous improvement within your team
Work with vendor teams on Implementation of POCs
What you'll need to succeed:
Strong background leading marketing technology and automation. Experience rolling out new MarTech is a plus
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and proven business process consulting and marketing automation experience
Previous experience (at least 4 years) in a customer-facing consultative role, implementing or delivering solutions or customer-facing projects
Workfront System Admin experience, with Workfront Certification (or ability to become certified upon hiring)
Marketo Engage or any other EPS certification with API configuration abilities (Preferred)
