Salary: $120,000.00 We have partnered with a Real Estate servicing company in the Annapolis, MD area to provide them with a Senior Business Systems Analyst. A key liaison between the business stakeholders and technology, the Senior Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for leading initiatives that align business processes with technology capabilities. This includes planning, documenting, supporting, testing, and leading implementations of functional and technical aspects of core systems. Optimizing business processes and systems and facilitating actionable insight from the organization's data assets are core responsibilities. Responsibilities of the Senior Business Systems Analyst: Manage business and technical requirements from elicitation through final documentation and solution deliverables. Identify areas for improvement, research potential solutions, perform cost benefit analyses and partner with necessary stakeholders to execute approved solution. Manage multiple ongoing projects, priorities, and requests Coordinate project meetings with stakeholders, manage meeting agendas and notes. Leads and manages system testing, training and implementation when required. Performs and coordinates complex analysis, design, development, and support services for core applications. Develops recommendations for improving processes, efficiency, and practices of the organization's core application systems including, but not limited to, Yardi, Salesforce, Argus, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365. Mentor and train junior employees. Facilitate an environment of collaboration and open communication. Works both independently and as a member of a team in the design, selection and deployment of various technologies, hardware, and programs. Prepares detailed documentation, including flow charts, data dictionaries, reports and user training documents to support these applications and products. Maintain current knowledge of core applications/technologies and actively seek opportunities for improvement. Acts as subject-matter expert on system and business processes Responsible for advancing the organization's data governance strategy from data procurement to information delivery Assists with the development and creation of business intelligence initiatives including report requirement gathering and development, ad-hoc data analysis, and metric tracking. Participate in IT projects as assigned. This includes learning new systems and applications. Requirements of the Senior Business Systems Analyst: BS degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Business, or equivalent work experience. 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in the Real Estate and/or Accounting industry Specific experience with system and/or application administration and maintenance Proficiency with Microsoft365 tools and suite including Excel, Word, Power Point and Visio Experience with project management tools 3+ years of experience leading projects and/or technical initiatives Demonstrated track record and eagerness to learn new technology Must be able to multi-task, be well organized, and flexible in fast-paced environment Tenacious, determined, and enthusiastic in meeting deadlines. Self-starter, taking initiative on daily tasks, and able to work in an organized manner Demonstrated critical thinking, initiative, and good judgement as well as constructive problem solving Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have good analytical, personal organization, and problem-solving skills.
