Patient Access Representative

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Shifts: Days 8a-5p

Guaranteed Hours: No Guarantee

Start Date: 01/31/2022

Duration: 13 weeks

Rate: $20/hr. on 1099

Must be fully vaccinated.

Job Description:

• Responsible for completing the pre-registration, re-registration and/or re-verification processes following department procedures using identified technology and hospital registration/billing systems. In addition, responsible to accurately identity, verify, and document insurance coverage for scheduled services utilizing all available electronic and manual sources Requires daily communication with patients/caregivers, schedulers and insurance companies via telephone in order to obtain accurate demographic, insurance, referring provider and patient liability information.

Requirements

• Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Experience 1 Year experience in a Registration, Insurance Verification or equivalent hospital registration role (Required)
• General Experience with and knowledge of Siemens Envision Registration system, HDX Eligibility Verification Module and Huron Ontrac Revenue Cycle Solutions Systems (Preferred)
