Description:

Our Mortgage department is searching for an enthusiastic and professional Processor to join their team. As a Processor, you will perform a variety of functions including data entry, filing, document prep, auditing, and quality assurance. Qualified candidates will have a minimum 1 year recent mortgage processing or operations experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the expert ability to balance both high volume and high quality.

Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:

Job Duties

Leverage multiple systems and tools to prioritize and review files for completion and accuracy, including analyzing documentation
Calculate income, analyze appraisal, title and credit reports, handle asset documentation
Communicate with escrow, loan officer, underwriter, closer, member, business partners and management via email and verbally
Research and resolve member issues including timely response to Early Check and Desktop Underwriter warnings
Participate in loan audits by conducting research to either concur or dispute the findings
Work efficiently and quickly to meet established risk and service levels while still meeting accuracy requirements and established volume expectations for a Processor

Essential Skills

Minimum 1 year experience in loan operations with a basic understanding of lending practices and regulatory requirements
Demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment
Skilled in working on multiple projects at once, prioritizing, working independently and comfortably under pressure; all while exhibiting strong technical and problem-solving skills
Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences
Able to articulate complex concepts while tailoring the message to first home buyers and members
Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive documents in a timely and accurate manner
Familiarity with Encompass is preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
High School Diploma

Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 (Many of our teams are currently working from home, but once it is safe to do so, we will be asking our employees to return to their assigned First Tech location.)
