We are looking for Java Backend Server Developer to join our team and we are part of the USD 21 billion Mahindra Group that employs more than 200,000 people in over 100 countries. The Group operates in the key industries that drive economic growth, enjoying a leadership position in tractors, utility vehicles, after-market, and information technology and vacation ownership.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of object-oriented principles with an ability to write clean code.
• Coding, testing, debugging, documenting, implementing and maintaining software applications.
• Responsible for writing the test cases for the different application's modules based on the requirement Doc.
• Designed and Developed highly complex and scalable applications using java technologies.
• Identify and document the significant New Integration features and software components that will require testing.
• Participate in all aspects of SDLC.

Primary Qualifications:

• Professional software development experience with Java
• Experience working with distributed systems
• Experience in designing and developing asynchronous rest API's
• Experienced in designing REST API
• Experience with SpringBoot and/or Play/ Akka
• Have worked with Java8+ and have an excellent understanding of streams, lambdas and the concurrency API's

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent understanding on HTTP request methods and response status codes and when to apply them
