The SharePoint Developer will work within a SharePoint implementation team and take a lead role in managing the DMS SharePoint environment, as well as assisting with migration from a SharePoint 2010 environment to SharePoint Online.

Local candidates.
All on-site work now.

Candidates should be direct to vendor, no multi-layering.

The DMS SharePoint Developer will be working with the DHS SharePoint Team and will be responsible for establishing/maintaining out-of- box SharePoint Online environment to include: maintenance, deploying solutions, troubleshooting the environment, using best practices for availability and reliability, performance monitoring, and security governance of the portal.

Duties and Responsibilities
Deploying and managing web applications, site collections and custom workflows.
Managing configuration settings to include user accounts, authentication and other security related operations
Participate in the planning and execution of new SharePoint based projects, including interfaces with other DMS business systems
Analyze business and system needs and suggest solutions that leverage SharePoint out-of-the-box functionality, as well as staying within DHS SharePoint policies.
Identifying risks and making recommendations for best practices
Providing technical support of InfoPath forms, SharePoint workflows, PowerAutomate and Power Apps
Posting new content and modifying existing content to DMS-supported SharePoint sites
Assist in migration from SharePoint 2010 environment to SharePoint online

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience
Two to three years' experience working in a SharePoint environment in a developer capacity. SharePoint 2010 SharePoint Online Experience preferred.
Experience in SharePoint Workflow, InfoPath Forms Services, BCS, records management, Enterprise search, and Forms Based Authentication.
Excellent system analysis skills within complex technical activities
