Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer/Data Analyst in Dallas, TX.
Summary:
We are looking for a Data Engineer/Data Analyst for a long running contract in Dallas, TX. We need a Data Engineer/Data Analyst with experience with BigQuery and working with very large databases. Your communication skills (listening and understanding) are critical as you will work between a Google Analytics team that collects the data and a Data Team that uses AI and Machine Learning.
Responsibilities of the Data Engineer/Data Analyst:
* The Data Engineer/Data Analyst will partner with technical and non-technical colleagues to understand data and reporting requirements
* Conduct analysis of the requests from the data team and solution the tracking of data from the webshop
* Accountable for the webshop tagging requests and Solution the design for the end to end tracking of data points from webshop to data platform
* Work closely with the Data Analytics, webshop development and Data platform teams to analyze data, using different technologies, considering multichannel and different devices approach
* Perform SQL tuning as necessary
* The Data Engineer/Data Analyst will develop Data Quality checks for source and target data sets * Develop UAT plans and conduct QA
* Aggregate data from several databases and export data into various formats; If needed automate data aggregation and exports
* Run Big Query exports and analysis
Required Skills : * Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Data Analysis role - preferably in eCommerce * Good presentation skills * Ability to deliver results in a fast paced, global and international environment * Ability to communicate effectively in a cross-cultural group and matrix organization * Capacity to work with different functions/countries/regions/teams * Be dependable and reliable, with the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment and in an international environment * Capacity to discuss with your teammates, as well as colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through your use of data and logic * Capacity to correctly manage delivery capacity vs quality * Capacity to handle priorities with a data-driven mindset Experience of web Must Have: * Advanced SQL * Fluent in BigQuery, data pipelining * Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager - setting up the scripts and variables using JavaScript (Preferred) Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
