Job Description:
The Data Processing Operator(DPO) team leader is responsible for envisioning and setting goals in the DPO efforts for the Digitalization sub-project for the DWC Modernization program.
The job description includes processing, storing, transmitting and protecting data/information and files for all DPO efforts.
The team lead creates a vision and then inspires other team members to jointly achieve them.
The team lead ensures that every team member has a role to play in achieving set goals and targets.
The leader is a keen team player who teaches his/her teammates how to cooperate in order to achieve organizational goals and targets, and also coordinates other team members.
To be effective on the job he/she must participate and have a thorough understanding of all job duties of the data processing operators.
The team lead will be responsible for keeping the PM and Project Director updated on status of all DPO activities along with raising any risks, issues, and/or roadblocks as soon as they arise.
They would also be in charge of updated spreadsheets for reporting stats.
The Team lead will regularly assess the teams work and provide any suggestions for improvements of the procedure and operations of all DPO tasks to minimize risk, and then take further steps to eliminate or manage them.
Review completed tasks to ascertain compliance with standards.
Monitor all team members and provide necessary advice and guidance.
Perform periodic risk assessments and initiate risk control strategies.
Coach all team members and motivate them to produce desired results.
Perform regular audits of DPO work and DPO procedures to discover areas of weaknesses and fortify them.
Work alongside other DWC units to achieve company goals and visions.
Write and forward any requested reports to the management.
Provide input on solutions to any challenges in the DPO activities.
Perform regular assessment of team member's performance and devise strategies to help with improvement.
Carry out research needed to reveal new and better methods of handling functions within the department.
Ensure DWC's data/information related to DPO activities and information are protected from unauthorized access.
