Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Director of Information Technology - Security and Networking/Telecom for our Information Systems Technology department. The Director ensures the security, confidentiality, integrity and availability of client's information assets and network on which they reside.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze reports and records to monitor performance and to determine whether changes or upgrades are required
• Collaborates and takes ownership of network and security items on system integration projects with technology infrastructure, applications and external systems
• Collaborates with management during project implementation, including planning, scheduling and evaluation of cost, capabilities and time factors
• Communicates complex technology and project information to various audience levels including senior management, development team members and end users
• Directs periodic audits of internal and external data, and network security controls to validate effectiveness, identify risks and promote continuous improvement
• Directs the planning, implementation and execution of security policies, activities and facilities to protect against network and data security breaches and vulnerabilities
• Educates users and promotes security awareness
• Ensures the quality of the processes, procedures and programs through best practices of quality assurance and control
• Familiar with information security frameworks such as NIST, ISO27001, HITRUST
• Interfaces with vendors to negotiate cost effective service contracts
• Oversees Management of Information Security and Network/Telecommunications Infrastructure
• Participates in development of Information Technology disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Remains current on information security topics and trend
• Responds to third party audits
• Work with HIPAA-privacy officers on compliance issues as necessary
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

• College degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required
